Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic has hampered financial results and is likely to be a cause of uncertainty in the near term, Bactiguard has improved its platform for future growth in recent years and the long-term growth potential appears strong, in our view. The key events ahead are potential expansion into new applications via partnerships and sales uptake (launched in the EU in June 2021) and US approval (H1/22) of ZNN Bactiguard implants.
