BankNordik has announced that it will compensate 1,607 of its clients, because the bank mistakenly has been underinvested in Danish equities relative to clients’ investment agreements. This has led to a return shortfall among those clients. BankNordik will hence compensate the clients accordingly with a total amount of DKK 14.5m within the coming weeks. BankNordik states that this will not lead a change in its 2021 net profit guidance of DKK 150-200m. We estimate a DKK 190m net profit for 2021E excluding the DKK 14.5m compensation.
