BeammWave has won a SEK1.9m development contract from a government agency within Sweden's Total Defence framework. BeammWave does not make end products, so a systems integrator sits between it and the end customer. BeammWave has previously worked with Saab on a Vinnova-funded civil-military synergies project (2024), and with Advenica — which supplies high-assurance cybersecurity to Swedish defence and national security customers — on both a secure-component supply chains grant and a 6G radar/sensing project. At SEK1.9m — trivial by defence-contract standards — this reads as an evaluation step. Redeye anticipates further orders. BeammWave's stated priority remains reaching volume production with its three existing customers. However, proceeds from its recent directed issue and strategic top-up give it room to consider applications beyond those three. Management has flagged defence and SATCOM as attractive markets with inbound requests.
