Under gårdagen hade spelet som högst 131 153 stycken spelare samtidigt, vilket gör det till en av de mest spelade titlarna på plattformen just nu. Detta i hård konkurrens med ett antal multiplayerspel som CS:GO, Dota 2, Apex Legends och PUBG.
Enligt TIN Fonders analysverktyg TIN Analytics är Valheim Embracers klart mest populära spel för tillfället på såväl Steam som streamingkanalen Twitch.
Andelen positiva användarrecensioner på Steam överstiger 95 procent, vilket plattformen kategoriserar som "överväldigande positiva".
Skövdebaserade Iron Gate som står bakom Valheim består av endast ett fåtal anställda. Under större delen av utvecklingstiden har blott mellan en till tre personer arbetat på spelet. Detta enligt Iron Gate-chefen Richard Svensson.
På andra plats i den officiella bästsäljarlistan märks det kinesiska spelet Tale of Immortal, följt av Nioh 2 - The Complete Edition.
I övrigt intar Total War: Warhammer III fjärde plats, en titel som utannonserades alldeles nyligen. Försäljningen avser därmed förhandsbokningar. Spelet ges ut av börsnoterade Sega Sammy.
Vidare märks Mass Effect Legendary Edition på nionde plats, från speljätten Electronic Arts. Det är en remake av den populära Mass Effect-trilogin och släpps den 15 maj i år.
I tabellen nedan framgår samtliga topp 3-placeringar på veckobasis sedan mer än ett år tillbaka. Steam, som drivs av utvecklaren Valve, utgör en viktig försäljningskanal för framförallt många svenska börsnoterade spelbolag.
