Q2: Low revenue mainly due to delivery delay, costs higher
Sales at SEK 2.4m was significantly lower than we anticipated, as the expected eMELT-iD delivery was pushed forward, while the Freemelt ONE delivery to Mid Sweden University had more lenient payment terms than we expected, due to the collaborative nature of the relationship between Freemelt, Sandvik and the University. However, the majority of the revenue has only been pushed forward by a quarter, and we estimate the company has secured at least SEK 12m in revenue for H2 already. Opex increased in Q2, as the company incurred expenses for securing new and replacing some old talent, while also ensuring a flawless customer experience with the first eMELT-iD deliveries.
