Initial ATP has been confirmed into a firm order for 6 satellite
This morning GomSpace announced that it has signed a contract with existing customer Unseenlabs, to deliver 6 more satellites worth a total of SEK 43m (~11% of ABGSCe FY’23 revenues), with delivery from H2’23. The contract is following an initial authorization to proceed (ATP) received on July 7th worth SEK 12m (to secure components with long lead times), meaning the new to market order value, stands at SEK 31m.
Good order in terms of margins, as it include products
The order is composed of 6 satellites, which will need some engineering work (low margin), but they also have a decent degree of standard satellite products (high margin) in them, leading us to expect this order, will be margin accretive to the group level.
Repeat customer, provide stamp of approval
Overall, this is the kind of orders we like to see from GomSpace. It is repeat business, from a quality customer (providing further stamp of approval), with margin accretive order content.
