Leaddesk just announced it has acquired Norwegian peer Telemagic. The acquired sales are c. EUR 1.2m, adding 4% to Leaddesk’s sales. The transaction EV/sales is c. 1.0x. At first glance, it seems the acquisition logic is market consolidation and hence the success of the transaction is dependent on the retention (and up-sell) of acquired customers. Also, the acquired company needs a profit turnaround, which we think should be doable in Leaddesk’s SaaS model.
