Ahead of the full-year results, we note that the encouraging trends in the US, which we highlighted after the Q3 results, seem to have remained intact. Competitive pressure in the European standard nonwovens market has prompted Suominen to initiate the closure of a plant in Italy, Mozzate, during Q2 2023. This should result in an annualised EBITDA impact of EUR 3m and one-time costs of EUR 12m. Marketing material commissioned by Suominen Oyj.
