Today, the independent Board of Directors of Sleep Cycle officially announced its unanimous recommendation that shareholders should not accept the public cash offer of SEK 24.50 per share from Altor (Snark BidCo). This announcement follows our initial research note on 11 May 2026, where we argued that Altor’s timing was highly opportunistic, capturing the company at a valuation trough. The Board’s rationale aligns with our view, stating that the offer fails to reflect the intrinsic value of Sleep Cycle’s strong cash-generating core business and its substantial investments for future growth.
