Redeye is positive about CLS being selected, together with ClearPoint Neuro, as an industry partner in a five-year research programme led by Dartmouth Health and supported by the US National Cancer Institute (NCI), aimed at advancing MR-guided laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) for patients with spinal metastases. While the programme is at an early stage and does not affect our near-term estimates, we view it as a validation of CLS’s technology and an interesting opportunity to broaden the use of its laser technology beyond the brain. We look forward to following the programme going forward.
