Leading Edge Materials' processing concession for Norra Kärr is now with the government
Leading Edge Materials provides an update on subsidiary Greenna Minerals' application for processing concession for the Norra Kärr deposit, according to a press release.

The Mining Inspectorate recommends approval of the processing concession for Norra Kärr. The County Administrative Boards in Jönköping and Östergötland gave their approvals in December last year.
The final decision on the processing concession for Norra Kärr is now with the government.
- We have initiated formal communication with the government ministry responsible for our application, it is encouraging to note that all authorities involved so far in the permitting process have recommended that our application for processing concession for Norra Kärr be approved, comments CEO Kurt Budge.
Norra Kärr is a rare earth elements deposit, located north of Gränna by Lake Vättern. The project is however controversial due to environmental risks for Lake Vättern, which is an important drinking water source.
Furthermore, board members in the company have recently exercised options to subscribe for shares, which has added 788,000 Canadian dollars in new capital.
The company has also hired Boofel Enterprises to provide IR services.
