Redeye comments on Scibase’s new partnership within the Barrier field. The partnership with French Skinobs is a global platform for connecting researchers within cosmetic and medical research. The partnership is in line with what Scibase communicated earlier: they see a good opportunity in the cosmetic industry where several large cosmetic companies use Nevisense in their R&D. We see this partnership as a natural step to increase awareness in that industry. The recent study where a direct comparison between electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) using Nevisense and the commonly accepted trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) measurement technique has, in our view, increased the interest in EIS method multiple times. The study clearly showed an advantage of using EIS as a method. The new partnership is complex to quantify in terms of sales potential, but we like that Scibase continues to expand its network for increased potential sales in the future.
