First mover: world’s first AutoStore with frozen zone
StrongPoint announced today that it has been chosen to design and install the world's first AutoStore solution purpose built for food management for the Norwegian food distribution company DLVRY. The solution will have three temperature zones: ambient, chilled and frozen. While it has been expected for a while that AutoStore will launch frozen capabilities, we argue it’s a testament to StrongPoint’s position in the Nordic grocery retail technology markets that they win this contract. Also, StrongPoint is AutoStore's only grocery-focused partner, putting them in a good position to win more contracts as grocers move to e-com.
