Redeye comments on FluoGuide announcing results from the first part of the ongoing CT-005 trial evaluating FG001 for surgical guidance in patients with oral head and neck cancer (HNC). The focus in Part 1 was on finding the optimal dose, which was achieved. While definitive margin assessment data are still under analysis, we view this readout as the best possible outcome at this stage, as meeting the primary dose-finding endpoint with a clean safety profile bodes well for the trial’s progression.
