This morning, Moberg Pharma announced that the USPTO has granted a patent covering an improved dosing regimen for MOB-015, with projected expiry in December 2041. The U.S. is the first market to grant a patent on the improved dosing, and corresponding applications are under examination in other markets. While the news has no near-term financial impact, it adds roughly a decade of potential protection beyond the existing patents expiring in 2032, and it meaningfully strengthens the long-term value of the U.S. opportunity, where Moberg retains full rights.
