Redeye comments on today’s announcement that Alzinova has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent with Fujirebio regarding the potential development and commercialization of the company’s blood-based Alzheimer’s diagnostic program. While the agreement remains contingent on the outcome of the ongoing validation work with Amsterdam UMC, we view the interest from a global leader in neurodegenerative diagnostics as an encouraging external validation of the commercial potential of Alzinova’s Aβ42CC technology beyond its therapeutic applications.
