DNO Increased North Sea Production in Q1

The Norwegian oil company DNO reports net production of 131,671 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first quarter, up from 111,678 in the previous quarter, driven by the North Sea, which rose to 88,647 (19,296). Kurdistan fell to 39,600 (61,561) after production was halted at the end of February for security reasons linked to the conflict involving Iran, but it was restarted on April 9.

The realized oil price in the North Sea was $87 per barrel, compared with $63.6 in the previous quarter. In Kurdistan, the price was $31.

The company has swapped assets with Equinor and started the Symra field earlier than planned.

The first-quarter report will be published on May 7.
