Norwegian salmon farming company Mowi increased its slaughter volume by 26 percent to 136,000 tons (108,000) during the first quarter, which is both a new record for the period and above its own guidance of 128,000 tons. Expected was 128,118 tons, according to Bloomberg's consensus.
Operating operating profit amounted to about EUR 221 million during the quarter. Expected was EUR 224.9 million, according to Bloomberg.
