Change in launching partner has entailed delays
This morning, Ovzon announced another delay to the launch of its proprietary satellite, Ovzon-3. While we understand that the project has been in its final stage for some time, the remaining steps - including final assembling and dynamic testing - is taking longer than previously anticipated, partly as a result of Ovzon's decision to change launching partner from Arianespace to SpaceX in February 2023. The new anticipated launch window is "no earlier than late 2023 or early 2024", which compares to Ovzon's previous guidance of Jul-Sep'23. Dynamic testing will begin early July at Maxar, its satellite manufacturer.
