Powercell today announced its first order for a methanol to power system from a European shipyard. It’s a 2 MW installation with an order value of SEK150 million. Invoicing will start immediately and run up until 2029 when the system is scheduled for commissioning. We find it encouraging to see that Powercell is already gaining firm market traction for its methanol reformer solution that was launched in the second half of 2024.
