UniCredit criticizes Commerzbank - sees room for improvement
Italian banking giant UniCredit believes that German Commerzbank is insufficiently prepared for future challenges and is focusing too much on short-term goals. This is stated in a press release.

UniCredit believes that there is significant potential to increase value and reduce risks in Commerzbank, in which it is a major shareholder.
What UniCredit is advocating is a repositioning for higher revenue growth as well as increased investment and transformation, and it recommends this based on the success of its own strategy, UniCredit Unlocked.
UniCredit plans to hold a press conference on this in connection with Monday morning.
