Redeye leaves a brief comment following ExpreS2ion’s announcement of the third scheduled DSMB review of the Phase I trial with ES2B-C001. We are encouraged by the continued clean safety profile and increasingly consistent immunogenicity, with anti-HER2 antibody responses now observed in 12 of 13 evaluable patients and a median 16-fold peak increase among patients completing the dosing schedule. While Phase II initiation has been pushed to H2 2027 to allow for regulatory discussions in Europe and the US, we view the adjustment as relatively modest and see the end-2026 Phase I readout as the key upcoming value inflection point.
