Redeye is very positively surprised by Eolus securing additional milestone payments related to Centennial Flats, a 767MW US Solar PV/BESS project sold in 2022. Eolus now expects USD37m in additional milestone payments to be received in H2'26, compared with USD6.9m previously communicated. The USD30m upward revision represents almost 50% of Eolus’ current enterprise value, while the total USD37m in milestone payments expected in H2'26 amounts to almost 60% of current EV. We see this as further evidence of Eolus’ very strong financial position, characterized by a substantial net cash position and a low valuation relative to the underlying cash generation potential.
