Redeye is surprised to hear that CEO Axel Berntsson is leaving the company to take on the role as CEO of Bulten AB (listed at Nasdaq). We thought he was committed to stay at least another few years at Absolent, given the groundwork he has done and the opportunities that lie ahead. The process to recruit a new CEO has started and Axel Berntsson will stay up to six months or until the successor is in place.
