Redeye has a mildly positive take on today’s news that Nanexa has reached a settlement with Vitrivax. Vitrivax has “represented and warranted” that it is not practicing the inventions claimed by Nanexa and will also not do so in the future. The deal also includes a “contingent licensing mechanism”. We don’t expect any income from the agreement but conclude that a settlement likely was a better alternative than a full judicial process given the high costs involved.
