Initiates buyback programme
SinterCast today announced in a press release that it is initiating a share buyback programme, complementing its recurring dividend payments as a way to return capital to shareholders. The Board has allocated an initial amount of SEK 5m for the programme, which at the current share price corresponds to 0.6% of the company's market capitalisation. After repurchase, the company intends to cancel the repurchased shares. The repurchases will be made in advance of the company's 2024 AGM, to be held on 21 May 2024. At the time of the press release, SinterCast held none of its own shares and the company is authorised to hold a maximum of 10% of the outstanding shares in the company.
