The EU has decided to grant co-financing to Train Alliance of SEK 327m (EUR 28.7m) for the implementation of the SMARTCargo project. The project aims to enhance the capacity and functionality of the Swedish part of the European railway network, TEN-T, thereby enabling a greater shift from fossil-fuel-based truck transport to green and sustainable rail transport. Expected by us but nonetheless supportive.
